I know that it’s been awhile, and I apologize, but things have been crazy. This thursday, I had my wisdom teeth removed (One of the many perks of being a teenager) and have been feeling pretty- well, to put it bluntly, crappy. I’ve been confined to my house, and home alone for the last three days. Determined to not be unproductive all weekend, I’ve set myself to work. I’ve been doing a lot of painting (Sticks and shells and such, pics to come) And, upon looking at my Etsy store, I decided to change my etsy banner. It took me awhile, but I am ultimately very satisfied.
I plan on making some small jewelry dishes soon to post on my etsy shop. Comment with any ideas you have 🙂
Wow! It’s been awhile! My apologies, but we moved this month and it’s been crazy crazy busy this month. I got an order a day or two ago on my etsy and it snapped me back! I’ve drawn a bunch of new cards 😀 Check them out:
The teacup is the first ever card I’ve drawn with color. Should I go more in that direction? or stay with my monotones?
Love you guys!
I was recently told that I should have a selection of more holiday-specific cards. I started with the obvious choice for a New baby or baby shower, a stork. It goes really well with the theme of my etsy shop so far, as it’s an animal and such. I had a tougher time coming up with ideas for other holidays, but I started with the most common holiday: Birthdays! It’s a pretty simple design, but it was one of the most difficult cards I’ve drawn. I will update my Etsy shop with these two cards just as soon as I post this. Hope you guys like them.
Recently, I enlisted my wonderful washi tape and Xacto knife to help me personalize my laptop and iphone… They turned out rather splendidly, if I do say so myself 🙂 What do you think?
Honestly, I don’t know how I hadn’t thought to draw one of these gorgeous birds sooner. They really are an amazing creation. Theres no way a black and white drawing can capture the beauty, but I did my best 🙂 Hope you like this card, It will be up on my etsy shop soon… And I should have new “set” on my etsy soon as well, as soon as I decide what animals to draw! 🙂 (Im thinking about doing a monkey, raccoon, ferret, or skunk)
Last night, I drew a hedgehog card, but I’m running out of animals to draw. I might draw a skunk next, or a ferret. I don’t know. Let me know what you think 🙂
Is it crazy that this reminds me of someone who’s about to go do a dance video with a sweatband and big spiky hair. You know, like how the 80’s are depicted in movies? Idk. Maybe im just weird.
Have you ever made hand made business cards?
I hadn’t, until now. Turns out, I needed to have business cards to send to this Go-Live workshop, so I had to create some ASAP! I took so long to figure these out, how to get the right fonts and the logo up at the top in the right position (Made With Love logo was handdrawn, and scanned. I put it on the back of all my cards 🙂 Finally I printed them, and my printer wouldn’t work! The image looked way too pixel-y and blurry! 😦 Took about five tries, printing on different programs and paper, when finally I got it right! Turns out, one of the printer cartridge tabs hadn’t been removed. Oh, joy. Anywho, here are my business cards. I cut them each with a different fancy scissor, so while the edges aren’t perfectly straight, they are pretty!
In other news, I just updated my Etsy store with the panda and the fox as a set with my Lion and Squirrel cards. But worry not! If you want them all by their lonesome, just check back later this week, as I will update each card as an individual set.
Drew a new fox card to send for the Go Live workshop 🙂 I haven’t decided whether to send one of each card, with no duplicates, or five copies of three different cards. Here is the Fox! Will be updated to my etsy store soon, along with the panda. What animal should I draw next?
Just finished this hand drawn panda bear card! Will be updated to my etsy store soon, so check back!
